Greetings and salutations, DPC! While my teammates are pretty reluctant, understandably, to visit a project's forum, I am having a blast.

Now, I know it is a long ways off, but as Sekerob himself said, "watch that rear view mirror"

I'm "keeping the binoculars handy". Somewhere, far off in the distance, I can see you.
:)

Better pickup the pace. Trust that we will continue to do so...

Today's stats:
Dutch Power Cows 99,966 ~~~**~~~ XtremeSystems 514,661

Cheers,
Scott

Its good to see you posting there Scott :D

Just to note: there is also a 'sort' of team thread started by another teams member welcoming you (http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=8506) and Scott has been posting there too - however it might be an idea if Scott or the new Captain starts a suitably titled team thread of your own over there.

The only rules really are only one team thread allowed at any one time and no swearing :p:

You'll find most active teams are pretty chatty and like a laugh, so get on over there and get the banter going.

....Team GayUS will probably like this one :gay:

I've got to say, the WCG forum looks to be a whole lot more friendly than the Rosetta boards.

#1 on the team rank, Great job Adywebb, Hope to catch you. I have 3 folding WCG and a CPU on the way for another. Keep up the good work.
What is that I smell???? Ohhh it is a BBQ ! I love cow, Grilled that is!
BTW, I lost my dad to melonoma last Dec. so this is for my dad and me as well. It is good to do it for a reason other than points and bragging rights.

The #1 team rank is with my home team The PCReview Crew, but I have also signed over a rig on the team here.

I too lost my Dad to cancer last December, so I can empathise with you, and likewise I dedicate my crunching to him, and hope I can help others survive in the future.

......I'm looking forward to some BBQ'd Dutch cow in the near future :D

Ady :)

Always have to stay loyal to your roots mysticmerlin, but I might throw a few more on the fire here in the future ;)

I do belong to a group made up of members of various other DC teams who go guest crunching at other teams to help them move on and reach there goals - however this tends to be to help smaller teams, not sure XS are gonna qualify :D

We're just a small humble group from the sticks..We can use some flashy city folks like yourself to help us out and show us how it's done..
I know some of the guys are still trying to figure out how to install WCG..

Yep, I've noticed how small and humble your group is Dave :lol2: - but as you can see I'm doing my best to help out and and answer questions/problems where I can.

Although new here - maybe it might be an idea for me to post a few stickies answering some of the questions that seem to be coming up time and again here in various threads, and perhaps a few 'how dos'?

Ok will do - would be good to keep all the answers about scoring/validation/stats etc in one place.

Litchfield does look a nice sleepy town - notice its just south of 'Manchester', now that would make you a 'Northern B**tard' if it were over here! :D

How do :D
