Pressing and holding down A while starting up your system with Oblivion in the console with cause the game to speed up more. It defrags your HD I learned that today when I called msoft and said my 360 keeps freezing.

Yeah, and the more saves you have the slower the game gets. Don't keep more than 3-4 saves at a time.

Go go expert programming!

Dont expect the game to fly tho, you will have to re-cache everything over again. Just doing everything the second time might be faster

I am glad I decided not to play this game...seems more people have problems than good with it.

It's a great game, and completely worth any and all frustration.

I've had a relatively problem-free time with it.

Holding A clears the cache (It doesn't defrag).

I would figure it would clear cache or something that can be done quickly, as if you held 'A' and it defragged, you'd still be there for a while as HDD defragging takes a while....even with puny 20GB drives.
