umm... there is an edit button...
and yes, AFAIK, the crunch3r optimizations are still effective, though the quorum of 3 decreases effectiveness. Not totally sure though.

They are effective as long as you end up with another opti or very high spec machine compared to yours in your quorum - therefore the more that install it, the more chance of that happening ;)
