According to G.Skill Technician, PK, NR(?) and HZ should work, but NS and ZX should not.

if the ram is not faulty and the boards to blaim they dont have to take it back, worth getting in touch with both g.skill and asus. out of interest have you tried one stick etc swapping slots?

If G.Skill support is any good they should replace it with a good product. I think that all PC6400 ZX 2 gig kits should be recalled.

rma for pc6400 2gbpk if it is not working
but pc6400 2gbzx overclock better than pk
if your mobo can run zx it is better to keep zx :)

Has there been any development with ZX compatability? Have Asus released a P5B bios that works with ZX? What about the nvidia 680i and 650i chipsets? Do they work with ZX?

we can fix the problem by fix SPD timing. there is one value too tight for 965 chipset but no problem for 975 motherboard.
