I just got one and boy is this keyboard sweet. Here's the manufacturer's website (http://www.eluminx.com) I got a silver one which actually isn't shown on their website.

When it gets dark in a few hours I'll take some night shots and post some pictures.

Here is the package:

The back shows options for a few different illumination colors. I got Sapphire but I was expecting Aquamarine. I'll probably keep it rather than try to exchange it for another one.

The keyboard layout is a bit different. The layout is condensed and as you can see, they put the PgUp/PgDn keys alongside the enter key. It's been screwing me up but I'm starting to get used to it.

The night shot. Cool. Even in the day the lighting is pretty bright. It also has some sort of screensaver mode where the lights will turn off after a few minutes of activity, then turn on as soon as you touch it.

This keyboard is really light. When I picked up the package at UPS today I figured there must be a mistake, there can't be a keyboard in there. The feel of the keyboard is good and besides, it glows in the dark, man!

Sweet!, but if that's the same one I ran across on the web, it was over $100 US? Did you get a better deal? (If you don't mind my asking) :D

If thats one of those soft rubber keyboards, I tried something similar (not illuminated, but soft rubber) over the weekend and it drove me nutz. Plus the letters wear off the tops of the keys fairly quick (depending on usage naturally). Good luck with it, I doubt I could be happy with it.

yeah, it's a pretty sweet keyboard, but i don't think it's $100 sweet.

i do need a new keyboard though.

I dont mind the $100 price tag but I mind the "Please allow delivery time of 4-6 weeks"

I ordered mine from thinkgeek.com (since eluminx doesn't ship international) and yep, it was $100. I've been using the same keyboards for 3+ years now though (an original grey SGI and a black IBM) so it was totally time for a new keyboard.

The keys aren't rubbery at all. They're normal keys. Lower profile, but they feel normal. After a couple hours I can type just as fast on this keyboard as on my old one.

I ordered mine on tuesday of last week and UPS attempted delivery on friday, remember this is international shipment to belgium. I'm happy :)
