need some help please

My old nic died so i replaced it with a new 1.now windows is telling me i have made to many hardware changes and i need to reactivate!!!!wtf??its the only thing i have changed expept for the multi and the FSB.anyone have any ideas what i should do??i have 3 days ..........thanks.

Just call microsoft and give them hell! They'll give you another activation number, thats the big hang up with win xp. Leave it to Microsoft to make things as hard as they can.

Thanks tweaked,i'll give them a ring again and see what they can do for me.i tried earlier but i kept getting disconnected.what a pain in the azz..............:stick: :rolleyes:

ok it looks like im not the first 1 to have rang them over this LOL.the guy on the phone said no problem sir talked me through the process in about 3 minutes and all is good again.thanks for ur reply tweaked :banana:

or you could just put reactivate your winxp again with your cdkey, it only takes like 20 secs to activate.
