Hi all,

I am just so delighted today. Got my pressie waiting for me at my desk when i got to work. my new Macbook is here. Typing on it as we speak. Will load up some pics to show off this sexy beast. Much better than the eMac and Ibook i was using :leet:

Does anyone know where i can get like cheap films that can protect the cover and the base of this beauty?

http://www.applepeelz.com/products/MacBook - $45 though. Might be worth it.

How hot is it getting? Do you think it's enough to burn someone? I've been thinking about getting one of these, but it might be too hot.

They don't scratch like iPods do. You can always see the scratches if you look hard, but otherwise, the Macbook will look like new if you keep it white.

The bottom of my MacBook is all scratched...that is the only thing that has scratched since I have gotten it. Everything else looks just fine.

Probably some whine like almost all the MacBook :D

Mooing was corrected by a recent firmware upgrade.
