Prometeia setup...

My buddy is setting up his prommy and system now...

Everything is done but when he goes to power on the compressor comes on and goes to around -33 and trys to boot but gets powered down...

It's like when the system trys to boot, the prometeia shuts everything down...

The blue LED (power I think?) stays on until the power switch is held down for a few secs...then once the LED goes out he can turn it back on...

Need some help ASAP...im talking to him on the phone

What mobo, is the mobo new or did he have it running before installing in prom?

It's an 8RDA 1.1, and he had it running on air before the prom...

I am not sure what it might be, have him double check the wiring setup. Clear cmos, move ram to different slot. If I think of anything else I will post. Someone else had this problem on the forum. I will do a search and see if I can find it. Sorry I can,t be of more help.

Yeah I saw a guy with a similar problem in this thread, but there doesn't seem to be a solution or happy ending at the end :(

He ended up taking it out and trying it on air again, worked for a little then he went to restart and no go. He says it's dead or he has a corrupted BIOS. Sucks.

What would be a good replacement? hes thinking abit nf7 rev2.
