I just bought an Alpha Pal8045U with a Delta 47CFM fan and its going to be another week before the rest of the parts for this system will be here, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me how loud this will be cause Im not exactly excited about a loud ass fan. Thanks

Did you get the bundled ear defenders, if not then id RMA it :P

They are WAY too loud for my liking, only usefull for people who wear headphones all the time and like thrash metal.

Well, i was looking at HardOCPoop becuase they had something about the Deltas they came with and they reviewed them with 60 CFM and 80 CFM and they said the 60 wasnt to loud but the 80 was, so the 47 should be too bad...

I don't understand why you are sending the delta back if it's only a 47 cfm fan (assuming it's 80mm). That shouldn't be too loud. But the one you've mentioned as a replacement ought to be ok too.

yeah, if you aren't happy with the noise from the fan, just 7V it. it's not really that hard.

what motherboard are you getting?

I have a Delta fan probably 80cfm it sounds ALOT! but when i donĀ“t bench, i use 5v and then i lower the rpm from 6000 to below 3000 and the noise is very much lower. No problem when surfing or watching movies.

My panaflo 46.9 cfm fan is very tolerable. No winey or highpithced sounds. Delta shouldn't be too much differnet.
