well..im setting here a couple days ago,and getting my water cooling stuff in line ....motherboard is off to the right of me , just out of sight, friends 5 year old son is here, i look over and "the little guy" is just twisting away on one of my A8R32-MVP caps!!!!! :slapass: well, to make a short story short.. lol

he twisted off a 16V -100uf--105 c (m) KMG ( with either-
G-4 or 6-4 and
8k- or Bk on caps top....) i cant tell for sure about the top numbers , letters... too blurred.
ok, what cap can i replace this with, and what would be the best i can get to replace it..( it was just to the top right area of the cpu)...and obviously where would i purchase one..

wanna hear a good one?? called asus, they said they would replace it for me for between 40-60.00 bucks!!!! lmao

anyways guys....forced me to use a A8N32-SLI for the time being..... :D

thanx guys... Flash

just find any quality cap with the same specs (16v 100uF) and a quality brand (sanyo, nichicon, rubycon, chemicon, samxon). just make sure you get the negative in the right oreintation.

it should be the coloured half of the silkscreened cap spot is negative, but i think asus is reversed on some boards. just look at the other caps and find out which side is the ground, and put the stripe on the cap to ground.

WSP..thanx for the info...i was concerned the other "numbers, letters" on the top of the cap had any significant meaning......
