Just a quick message of thanks! I really missed this place. And I'm not sure how much traffic is happening right now, but this is the fastest most responsive Forum I've been on, makes my lowly dial-up connection seem like broadband....

Very nice work!

And again a HUGE THANKS to all that worked so hard!

Wow...nice hardware. RAID5 i suppose. Is that on a 3ware escalade 7500-8?

Puts my little servers to shame :) No scsi though? Or is that later :)

Jbell is partly correct

The server is a 2.4B
1GB Rambus PC1066-32
4x WD Special ed's RAID 0+1 stripped and mirrored
Promise IDE Raid controller
3Meg pipe via fiber

The server is scheduled to be moved at the end of this month onto its dedicated T1. The down time is expected to be about 30 minutes as I change the IP and switch network cables. I plan on a reboot then too.

The server is very stable and was running the entire down time offline.

I will post a formal notice before the move and I will schedule the switch over early in the morning.

Great work FUGGER!!! It seems to be running just fine. Thanks to Muzz for the heads up about the forum being back on-line. I was getting pretty bored with the internet without Xtreme to occupy my time.
