no problem to hit 1000 4-4-4-12
however you need to check your FSB. when you using high FSB with DDR2 1000+, it might not boot because the TRD is not high enough

2.2 2.3 to 1000 should be the average

no matter what I tried to get it to run at 1000, it just wouldnt :( I dropped the fsb way down and upped the multiplier still nothing, anyway im quite happy running it at ddr800 @ 3-4-4-12

2.4v just checking it runs 1000 or not
if 2.4v no problem you can try 2.35 2.3 and you know :)

ok, it worked at 250fsb x 9 and which ever divider made it upto ddr1000 but windows was acting funny, msn and ie were crashing, probably just msn and ie tbh but seems ok other times, (currently at 400 x 9 and ddr800 3-4-4-12) it passed 1mb superpi ok tho, but any other fsb with any other divider to make ddr1000 no boot mmmmmmm

yup I got the same results as you. I think the highest I've got is 380 x 9 and ddr-950 (5-4-4-12) @ 2.35v. I think G.S tech said the TRD needed to be loose at high fsb but the problem is the P5W bios sucks atm :( But it does run at GBGA stock cas3 which is awesome!

oh we better, the P5W is suppose to be a premium board and that's part of everyone's expectation. I think the problem is Asus having too many boards out at the moment. They need to refocus on quality and fine tuning of the ones that are out before moving on to another project.

if you found out hz can't do over 1000

the best thing is uing fsb266 and use 1067 2.4v and see it boot or not

@555mhz 5-5-5-5 at 2.4v seems to be the max for now = PC2-8880 :)

Well my recently updated 1.85vmch P5W, I was able to run DDR2-1000. So it wasnt really anything wrong with the ram just needed more vmch at the NB. I'm happy with my pair of HZ's :)

I even had a pair of 8500 Kingston HyperX to mess around with but it had more stability problem then the HZ's. Props to Gskill :toast:

i have problems with the GBHZ and the P5W DH Deluxe.
I can't go with the 1:1 divider :(
360*7 (E6300) with 4:5 going very fine with 2.2V. But 1:1 don't go :( why?
Timings are CL4-4-4-15

becasue asus has bas support on p5wdh 1:1 with high fsb :(
if you check P5B there is no problem to run 1:1 over 400 :)

i am going to try 1:1 on p5wdh over 400 soon...

Just so u know, my 1.85v p5w has no probs with my 2gbhz ram. Can hit ddr2-995 100% stable at 2.3v, and ddr2-1000+ at 2.35v (2.3v ddr2-1000 is about 4000+% stable in memtest but sadly not 100%.) This is all with 44412 timings and all extras off in the bios, 1.55v MCH. Btw, the devider/fsb has not mattered at all for me.

You know rather than go on and on I will just say I like G.Kill HZ on the 1:1
Truly some great memory. Here are some results I have obtained. Now this is where I tested to be 32M stable.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/GSdaily32m.jpg So I tried this one too!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/GS333832m.jpg Now I ran 1M with these timings up to 423fsb I backed down to 419 then 417 and still neither would do 32M I then stepped all the way down to 413 and they both ran it fine. Now my personal favorite setting for this mem is right here!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/superpi-1.jpg
As you can see that really speeds up the pi time and allows for a higher fsb and that is a good thing. This little 6400 just loves to run with this 6400HZ
I am going to go ahead and pick up a 6600, I will let you know how it fares with this mem.

All tests were run with mem at 2.35 Volts. MCH @ 165. The design of my case and my liquid cooling system keeps my case pumped full of cold air and my mem is actually cold to the touch as is my Northbridge.
Here is a shot you will note the 2 x 120 fans they are directing incoming cold air that has passed through my radiator to where I want it in the case.

Well hey guys experiment

You know it occurred to me that I had run everest at DDR 1000 with the timings set at 4-4-4-4 when I was running my 950 Presler that was a fsb of 300 and and the 3:5 divider I scored 9485 on the Everest mem read. I was impressed.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/everestmem.jpg
Today I ran Everest with my memory running at 425 on the 1:1 for DDR 850 with my timings set at 4-4-3-4 my everest mem read score was 10021. You do the math.
