I think the mac mini is dual channel. Why else would it come with 2x256mb modules instead of one 512mb module?

The motherboard is an Intel Napa. It uses SODIMM and supports up to 2GB of DDR2 ram. It also run in dual channel mode as long as you keep DIMM's matched.

Mac mini is dual channel.

A google search for "mac mini dual channel" confirmed the above from multiple sources; the first result was the Fugger quote listed above! :)
