Seems that there is a 10 client limit as everyone broke their servers at ready response. So we need some man power on this.

Well, we probably got a bit of a boost from it in the Vault while it was worth running.

I was just about to post this. We missed our chnce I think unless the limit is lifted the gap FDC and ARS pulled out has left us in the dust if 10 clients is all we can have. O well maybe we could get more people to run just the 10 clients alongside the cpu projects as they wouldn't even dent output. :(

Yes thats true, I know we jumped 11 places from 15th to 4th in the project.

Anyone know why no one has had stats for RL for around a day? It's just zeroes but I have clients running. Just because of their server issues?

I think it recognises how many clients you are running when it tries to validate so anything over 3 means it wont send anything :(.

I'm running MJ-12 again now anyways lets get to number 1 in that instead :p:.

So even though they say you can have a max of 10, you actually can't have more than 3?

I'm not sure, I think they may have just reinstated the old limit as it was easier to do. When I run 4 clients I still get no points and IronBits over at Free-DC has got an error message saying 3 clients max. I only have 2 running now so i'm seeing if my stats update next hour. :toast:

Damn. thats real bad for the project. So its headcount numbers more than quality of machine now again.! Not good.

If I start one client it says I already have the max....what the hell.

I don't know if this project is worth running anymore. If you read that thread on F-DC you'll see they have some real jerks there that don't think stats are important to DC, which is dumb as the project is worthless and we only do it for the stats :rofl:. Anyway they say they are working on and are planing on releasing V2.0 soon so v1.0 hopefully will vanish in history along with any stats meaning there is zero point to the project. I'm in no way saying people should stop running this i'm just saying I really can't be bothered with it and I don't think it is of any priority anymore as it is unlikely XS will lose it's 4th place or close the gap to third add to that the fact that this limit is very inconsistent, some running 9 clients others 1, I've never liked the members on their forums anyway though :p:

Well what a let down. Im going to shut down any clients that I can find now I think. Was a great project for big stats though.

Already restarted 2 clients can't let the bandwidth go to waste :toast:, I'll see if we can get AOL to whinge so I can get the ISP changed :p:
