Is it just me or is this the hands-down best audio card in the world, and at $90-120 unbelievably cheap?

the problem is with stock. the dang thing goes out of stock too fast at any store that'll even carry it!

is this a case where there's just not enough supply, or are retailers just not stocking it for who knows what reason?

if anyone finds one of these suckers in stock anywhere, do tell me, i'd like very much to get my hands on one.

uhm... i fail to see how the auzentech even comes close to being equal to, let alone better than, the audiotrak. the audiotrak uses the envy24/ht (ice1724) which is capable of REAL 192kHz output. and it has some incredible OPamps and such. if i wanted any other card i'd go with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829120103 which is better than a X-Fi, but not as good as the Prodigy. oh... and that price is truly incredible.

Lol there are cards with far better DACs and opamps than the progidy, namely, the Lynx Two, the ESI Juli@, the M-Audio Audiophile 192, the E-MU 1212m, and the E-MU 0404.

the new auzentech can do 192khz in 7.1 too. its opamps arnt that good b/c ppl buy the card for digital use, but they are upgradable.

ok... one more try at this post. i'll skip past the boring part of ruling some cards out. so, i brought it down to the Audiophile 192 or the Juli@.

I generally just listen to music, although i play games, and i do do some fooling around with recording. presently i'm using headphones because it's what i have, although i plan on spending money on a surround system at some time in the future.

which card is going to be better?
