226w TEC help!!!

hi my friends,

I am a noob in TEC cooling , my 1st time.

i can't afford to get a Mean Well PSU to power the 226w peltier..

I have got a spare chieftech true 360w power supply lying arround.

Is it possible to power the 226w tec with this psu , dedicated only to powering this tec????

if no then y?

will i be lowering the power of the tec or , will the tec not start at all????

what is the rating of amps on the +12 line if not 20 amps minimum I would not try it :( you might get away with 18

Enermax 365AX VE FMA and up is able to supply a 226W Pelter becuase Enermax is very strong on +12v (more amps).
Other PSUs (550W model) might just be enough to power a 226W Peltier.
