question about Alphacool Laing DDC pump 12V Pro

I have this pump:

It has both 4 pin and 3 pin power connectors. Is there any problem with hooking it up to the cpu fan header on the motherboard? will it report RPMs to the bios?

The four pin to the PSU.
The three pin to the motherboard, and you can then read RPM as a fan.
