And it didn't work for some reason, I used a 2.7k ohm resistor for the vcore showed 1.72v on the board. but it goes back to desktop when clocked at 400 or more or shows runtime error when running 3dmark01. The card is water cooled and had no problem running at 393 before the mod. Think it needs more voltage? Anyone has any ideas whats causeing this or what I did wrong that you can see here PLEASE let me know, It was showing some good numbers before the desktop starting staring at me,lol Thanks for the help.:slobber:

well from my personal experiance your probelm is the memory not the video card.mine would give me the excate same error months ago.i had my system memory too high.download memtest86 and try it.test5 will show errors if there is any.if it passes this test it will pass 3dmark01.
when your core clock is too high in a radeon it will lock.....nothing else.try downgrading your system memory first and then see if your 3d2001 test gives you errors

Thanks for the reply, but with the vmodd and at 1.75-1.85v why would it freeze or go back to desktop clocked at 400/351 without the vmodd it will run 3dmark01 with no problem at 11x223 393/353 but if I vmodd it will go back to desktop or freeze. What do you mean by downgrading the memory, like bring up the timings or lower the fsb cause i tryed all that. Everything is fine until I vmodd it, my buddy did it the same way and used the same parts and hes clocking at 436/360 doesn't make any sense to me.

BTW bowman thats a kick a** score you got there Congrats:toast:
