hey guys,
does anyone know when they are expected to hit the market??
with AMD droping thier prices, i can now get a 4800 x2 at a reasonable price to use on my DFI ultra ive just got the cheapest vid card for now and am looking to upgrade it to the new 8000 sereis cards
i was really debating getting the 7950 but i did not like the amt of heat they are putting out. so i just saved my money for the new series. and when the come out the 7950 sould drop nicly in price :D

its will be relased before r600 what i know but in september-november seems to be possible.
the card is based on 90nm and ddr4 ;)
does someone if it´s dx10 redy?

of course its dx10 ready...thats one of its main features :)

Releases Late September or early November.
G80 possibly will put out even more heat than 7950GX2.
Dont expect big price drop of 7950GX2.

BTW Why don't expect GX2 to drop? I wanted one of these :(

It can drop to 450$ to compete against X1950XTX but thats it until R600 arrives. ;)
