Is the OCZ600SLI PSU OK for running a Quad EVGA 7950GX2 setup? My hardware is as below in my sig. (I don't yet have the 7950s, but they will come soon.)

Quad 7950GX2 setup? the 7950GX2 itself is a dual setup, so are you talking about a dual 7950GX2 (Quad-SLI) or a quad 7950GX2 (Octo-SLI)? cause it can't be done.
Anyway the OCZ PowerStream 600W SLI is an awesome PSU! handling Quad-SLI should be like taking a Tuniq Tower 120 from a baby! ;)

I would not recommend the 600 for 2 x 7950's.

Even the 700W is going to be on the edge depending on how far the CPU is overclocked and if you overclock the cards as well.

That system sounds like a very power hungry one.

The new 1KW would probably work fine, but its not released yet.

And we will have news about that 1kw PSU in a near future?

I'm going to bump this one. A 1kw PSU from OCZ would probably make my short list, a spot currently owned by the Enermax Galaxy 1kw.

i think that new silverstone 750 will suit you perfectly if you don't choose to go water cooling then something like the 850 pc p&c 850 or the enermax galaxy, tagan dual engine if you do. have you tried the extreme psu calculator http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp
