You know those brackets that come with mobo's...and the connect the header to the mobo?, and you screw the backplate like you would any PCI card?...where do i purchase one?

you can buy these all over ebay
ther eisnt anything special about one bracket or another from different mobo makers.
its a standard the IEEE 1394 standard on the pinout is all the same.
if you have any extra from an old mobo.. use it.. its the same.

and what you usin firewaire for ? video camera ? just use usb there isnt much difference.

look around ebay thats going to be your best bet./
also try best buy or fry's or ciruit city,, sometimes those places have them also.
