So this may become my rig, slowly, before the end of the year, and im wondeing if my mc220 with 4 fnas would handle. I've got some thermaltake fans 78cfm @ 12v, and i plan to wire 2 each to the 1900's and have them control the fan speed, hopefully i dont have to go much over 60-70% to keep noise down. Looking for 700/800 on both cards @ 1.45v, or what ever i cna get @ 1.45v

i'm hoping for ATLEAST 3.6ghz @ 1.5v for the conroe with an apogee block all with a single mcp-350

Why would you get an Apogee?

Although Conroe is considerable less power hungry than A64

1900xtx's gives out a LOT of heat, much more than G70 or G71. That radiator may not be enough for lowest temps. I would at least Tripple 120 Rad for Dual Graphics card + CPU.

Apogee has very close temps with Storm when tested with A64 WITH IHS. Storm excells over Apogee when without IHS

Thus since conroe is with pernament IHS, storm likely not much beter than apogee in this case

(Though I would still get storm, for future proof)

I'd go for the MP-05 SP LE instead. An impingement block like the Storm, but has a larger cooling area, so it's better suited for an IHSed CPU.

thunderstruck!

By the end of the year, you'll need a DX10 card. I would use the money you're using to get CF and just at a 7900gt/x, and save the rest for a future card. Also, for don't get an apogeeee, it's crap. I also suggest getting a more poweful pump to push water through 3 blocks and a rad. You'll see better temps.

Or, if u can't afford, mod it... ;)

if people are praising the MP-05 so much lately why are there no comaprisons to the storm rev2 on performance....
