Why, and this is not just XS its any forum, can't you search for anything with less then 4 characters???
I love the search button it keeps me from posting stupid questions but this always keeps me from successfully searching.

jbell was going to try to look into that awhile back... I personally would love to see 3 charactors also... I mean, AMD, PCI, AGP, MEM, CAS, I mean everyone can list 20 3 letter terms that you might want to search with.
Give this a shot, when you need to do a search try adding in * . Not to sure myself, never tried it, but Ive heard it works as a wildcard and can get what your wanting. i.e. KX7*.

the * key is a wild card - that is what you NEED to do to get 4 characters - sorry guys it seems to be a forums feature i will be looking more into.

I believe that hardforum allows 3 character searches, but I am not sure. Anyway, the * method will have to suffice for now.
