Some methods of cooling macbook pro?

im gonna get a 15 inch macbook pro soon.
I know there are many heat issues with this laptop.
What are ways i can do to maybe help cool down the laptop.
I herd something about thermal paste...but i dont know..

They should hve changed them by now. Apple changed their manufactoring process due to this.

if you are buying a new one it has been revised so I read. If you are getting a used one then make sure it has ext warrenty on it so they will fix it down the road.

Do your own application of AS5 on your processor and you should be pretty well good to go... not a whole lot of room for third-party cooling solutions in there.

If the heat doesn't bother you when you get it, then there's no reason to apply AS5.

If it is too hot, then google around. There are many guides on the internet for taking apart your macbook pro and applying AS5.

Reapplying the thermal paste does next to nothing.

Apple has released a new logic board which get rid of some heat and the electric buzz issue.

As soon as I have made a back-up, I will be sending my MacBook Pro in for a logic board replacement.

They are cumbersome and not worth the hassle in my opinion.

From some of the pictures I have seen there is a lot of thermal paste on the CPU in there. I saw the pictures from FragTeks MacBook Pro and it was enough to do atleast 10 of them.
