Anybody know when the Sempron EE's are coming out? I would love to have one. I'm going AM2 when the sempron EE's come out and later on get a X2 3800+ EE. Those would be great for OCing. :cool:

depends on the mobo. Some motherboards will not let you rise Vcore on the Semprons (MSI), and some others will not let ypou rise HTT over some (small) value...

Release Date? According to AMD, its late May.
But guess they don't have any capacity or this whole EE/EE SFF thing is just some sort of vaporware.

Energy Efficient yes. Guess alot of ppl don't know of the new Semprons then. My AM2 mobo will be more then enough.
Tforce6100 AM2 Biostar, Vcore 1.8v max, vDIMM 2.2v max, Chipset 1.7v max, 450mhz CPU HT, DDR2 800, Timming changes. Pritty much looks like a DFI bios... and like mine in my 754 only mine doesn't have HTTv or chip set voltage changes like the AM2 does. But the point of getting a EE is because they can take more for cheap.
A Sempron EE 3000+ is almost a extreme Edition. lol 35watts, 1.2vcore thats very nice, 1.6Ghz, better max case temp 78C. = Better OC on air. Everybodys going to want the EE's of anything from AMD. The normal semprons for AM2 get 3ghz every time. These babies will do much better.
PS:They are not out in the US but are out in other countiries. Also the X2 3800+ EE is out, I was wondering when we would get them...

Yes, they are offering a full lineup of EE chips for AM2, clear up and including the 5000+ X2's. All supposed to be 65W chip dual cores and single core models will be 35W.
