Anyone think it could be possble to tec cool a NF2 NB chipset with a hsf?

im thinking maybe a 85w pelt. but i noticed they run 8amps. So that might work my psu alot.

I would guess it is possible. The biggest problem will be how to attach it to the chipset. You will have to use a fairly beeffy heatsink for the pelt and you will have to retrofit it to the holes. I think it would be easier to cool it with a waterblock.

I really don't think it's worth it. From what I've read here with other peoples experiences, all you need is a Celeron or other small socket HSF, and it'll do fine.

Also, I just don't think it's a good idea to use a heatsink on a peltier. Heatsinks just don't cut it for a peltier, and I think if you try and pull it off, you'll run into some problems.
