Load CPU-Z first and A64 tweaker after CPU-Z shows up.

That will show your correct settings from bios.

Upload the screenshot and the community will help you.

have you tried finding the max fsb of your motherboard to make sure it's your ram? as the fatal11ty series has problems :toast:

a friend of mine does 265 easy and has done 275 with a fatal1ty, he wont go higher cause he has air cooling, but i might just have a crappy board

and manu g skill has easily been seen going to 285 if not more!!!

OK well i would recommend testing the motherboard for it's max fsb/HTT first. Drop the cpu's multi as low as it goes and put the lowest divider on your ram with slackened timings and just up the HTT until it becomes unstable. Make fulll use of chipset volts too and also increasing cooling on chipset will enable a higher HTT to be hit. If it goes higher than 255fsb then it's not your motherboard and is most likely your ram.

Remember No overclock is guaranteed and all components differ so never estimate you overclock.

i will have to try that, what kinda timimgs you talk about here, i mean how loose, i am at 3-4-4-8 1t now

if on a low divider aswell 3-4-4-8 is as slack as you will need to go. :toast:

Well I got it up to 318x4 with a 200 divider!

So you are saying it is my ram that sucks????

The timmings I gave you through MSN are slower, but that was on purpose.

It was just for you to try to get a higher htt with your mems. If you got higher all there is to do is to tighten some timmings (like Trc and Trfc).

It's a trial and error thing.

Here's that refresh table I told you:

Hope you get it sorted out ;)

do you try it on DFI?
AN8SLi i did test it but i can only use 2T... 1T is not stable

i cant even go 2t, sad thing is that i gave a buddy of mine looser timings, still keeping the 3-4-4-8 though but looser trc and stuff and he still cant get stable anything over 250 and thats on a DFI!!!

YMMV when Overclocking. Sorry to say.

Well i got my DFI Expert now up and running and this stuff seems more stable already!! When i get all my stuff installed i am going for more clock and see what happens, my idle went from 33-35 degrees to 25 degrees with this new case, Thermaltake Big Typhoon and Artic Cooling MX-1, cant wait till the paste settles to see where it gets down too, but i will tell you this MX-1 is the worst paste to spread around!!!

e30Birdy, what week is your ram?
The first four digit in your s/n:)

Just a hint. Tras+trp=trc. So in your case, give 12 a try. Also, give trfc of 14 a try. Put idle cycle limit to 256 and report back. Those should help some.

also try with bypass max = 7x, Max Async Latency = 8ns, Read Preamble = 6.0ns, and Trrd = 3
