Will be picking up 2GB sets of PC2-6400 for 3 computers, 2 high end pcs and one cheap gaming (maybe PC2-5300).

What's the difference between the HR/ZX/HZ(/LA) products? Is it the chips used? The voltage tested on them?

Looked on the G.Skill website but couldn't find any info. I understand that the HZ are the most recommended from an overclocking point of view yah?

Thanks, :toast:

Ah so they're platform related as well...

The system i'd be putting in at first would be a Asus P5WD2, PentiumD 930, 7600gs, mainly for gaming, but general web surfing as well.

The system i'd be moving to will likely be DFI Infinity 975x, E6600, X1900GT. For pretty much everything. Benching, Gaming, Audio and Video encode/editing, Compiling.

I'd picked out a set of 2x1GB PC2-5400 LA's for the 930 rig and the 2x1GB PC2-6400 HZ's for the E6600 rig. About right or should I find the NT's for the 930 rig?

that sounds good!
2gbnt is 5-5-5-15 and 2GBLA is 4-4-4-12
well if you think that $10~20 is not that important to you, grab a 2GBLA :)
