I've found a spankin hot deal on some Tygon tubing for my newest wc setup. It's 1/2" ID, 11/16" OD, and wall thickness is 3/32".

Here is a page from the official Tygon site: http://www.tygon.com/Data/Element/Node/ProductLine/product_line_edit.asp?ele_ch_id=L00000000000000014 89

There's also a PDF spec sheet included on the page.

So, can this stuff work? After reading the description of its purpose, it seems it would be okay; but, perhaps it won't last as long as 3603. Opinions? Awesome.

What, a reply? It must be a mirage..:D

UV radiation I'm still searching for... the deal is on [H]ard FS forums. He's asking $1.20 per foot, but he knocked it down to $1.00 for me because I asked for 10 feet (which happens to be like half of what he has left). Still haven't followed through with it but I'm kinda leanin on the edge.. But for 2.21/foot on usplastics, it's not piping hot or anything..

Only personal experience I could find was here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=931762&highlight=tygon+food+tubing

Worth the trouble?

No, I'm just surprised anyone replied to my thread. like 40 views and no one had anything to say lol. Talk about testing my patience!!

Must be nice to be in Nevada. Wish I was on vacation...

I haven't even looked at masterkleer. I know it exists too, which is sad. Anyway...0.69 cents for 1/2" ID tubing is cheap. I will likely stock up on that shtuff. Are you running with Tygon?
