View Full Version : Rad/pump size for single WB/pelt cooling loop?

With one WB/pelt in a loop (GPU or CPU) can you scrimp a bit on the pump? Let's say a Hydor L20 instead of a L30? 1048 vs 1250?

Can you scrimp on the rad or is BIX about as low as you would want to go?

Or should I design the system with the most flow/cooling possible?

a single BIX will not work to well with a TEC on the CPU as for the TEC on the GPY it should be OK. But I would concider a Heater core over a BIX and get as many passes as you can find in the size you need.
