What $ value am I looking at adding per month to the electric bill (ballpark) if I go with a 226W pelt? Say about 4 hours use per day?

about 230 W-hours/hour, so about 1kW-hour per day. You should be able to work that out with your electricity costs.
I calculated once that my computer as a whole was costing me $20 CAD a month to have hooked up, but since I live in a dorm, I don't pay power, so I am safe for now ;).

Heh, thanks. I think I drank too many beers last nite :toast:
I'm in Alberta... currently paying $0.060 / kWh, plus delivery charge of $0.0066 / kWh.
Worst case scenario... it really only looks like an extra $5 per month.
