I pinched the idea from Opp's post in the Kingston Hyperx Sucks thread but I can't solder on that chip so...
Sorry for the lousy pics but.

Is it the same chip/pins/etc. for the vdd mod on all the nforce2 boards?

Thanks alot!!!
Do you increase resistance to increase vdd voltage??

No, you lower it to raise the voltage.

Is it possible to get a more detailed picture of the vdd mod? Where the cable from pin 6 is soldered to ground?
If I understand it right, using a 10k ohm resistor results in an estimatet voltage of 1,85 volt.
Please help !!! One NF7 stucks at 206 (rev 1.0) an the other at 191 (rev 1.2) . I wanna do some more oc:D
Greetz,
MM
I just did this, and not only did my Vdd show up as 1.6v on my MM then drop to 1.2v but the mod did nothing on my 1.2! I was following this and OPP's guide in the Kingston Ram thread!
Any ideas why it didn't work?

10 kOhm gives results in 1.85 VDD ? and how much for 1.9 or 1.8 ? just to see in what steps i have to in/decrease the resistor value .
i have another question : Can i connect all my voltmods to the same ground pin on my mobo or would that kill my setup . it would be handy because i only have 1 working ground on my fanconnectors . (i killed the other ones trying to measure voltage ... ) :D

it don't have to be fan connector pins.. any other pins work. Cmos pin works. Other jumper pins work too as long as they are ground compliable. I tried shuck it up my ass and worked too.

so when connecting that 10 kOhm pot up to your ass ... what voltage did you get ? :stick:
