Ok, so I see that both plastic and brass fittings are available... which one should one prefer? I can't find any useful information on this.

I'm guessing you would like plastic for the Fillport as the brass might weigh "pretty" much, my loop will be completely brass/copper, so is it preferable to use brass (or non-plastic) for everything else such as for the rad etc? (As it perhaps won't break as easily?)

Btw, fittings are usually not shipped with the blocks/rads/pumps?

fittings usually are shipped with blocks rads and pump, i would prefer brass, but thats just personal preference for me.

Plastic is ok as long as you are careful that you dont snap them. Most products come with barbs though sometimes not very good ones. Radiators are an exception, its best to read carefully to see if they are included or not.

Thanks for the answers, I'll go with non-plastic then, brass or whatever can be bought without too much hazzle.

I like brass, because I like to clamp down my tubing nice and tight and plastic tends to break after a while.
