Are those the ones I need? Thanks.

I would use them, just pre set them before you install them.

you know what to set them at correct?

Nope! I've used just normal resistors before.

What resistance values would you recommend?

1.3k will give you around 1.77Vgpu and 2.95Vmem. Depending on your cooling you can lower the resistance to get up to 2Vgpu.:)

How's a -40C GPU sound? Could I get that to 2v?

Thank you very much for the values! :D

2Volts with your cooling is Fine. I find 2 is about where mine maxes, anything over does nothing. I found my card at the moment won't run much better then 391, somtimes 398 and for 391 I only need around 1.96 volts.

Peltier cooling!?

just getting into the v modding of the graphics myself .... i know every system / card is different but as an average what sort of cooling is required for upping the voltages i:e the 1.7v for the gpu is watercooling good enough or will it require a pelt

cheers

That's my estimated temp when I get my cryo-freezer. My coolant temps should be round -60 to -65C so I'm predicting around -40C gpu temp. I could be wrong, but well, it's gonna be cold :) (And most likely I won't be using pelts.) The freezer can handle -118C, but I dunno what kinda coolant I can use to hit such low temps w/o freezing... My current anti-freeze can hit -64C I believe.

My 3rd GF4 has arrived, and arrived overnight! Mwahhah! I love threatening newegg! In any case, this GF4 looks diff. from the other 4600's I've had. It has yellow capacitors instead of the violet ones. Besides that it looks just like my original one, and not the 2nd one I got. I'll check the core then to see if it's an A2 or A3. I'm presuming it's an A3, but dang, it looks so new it might be an A4! Hahah jk :P I'll let you know and then I'll be getting to the volt mod when the parts come. Just ordered em.

Let us know how it works. I have the stupid NV30 Ultra core, which from my experiences, seems to run hot.. Way hot..

NV30 huh? Mind if I borrow that card? (That was a joke, the NV30 isn't out yet :P)

Hi
I have mounted a Vapochill cooler on my Gainward 4600 GS going 370/760 I need some more volt.

What resistance values for an GRU volt on 2.00V
and the Mem?

Jesus! A vapo on your gf4? That's sweet!

Whoops my bad.. I believe I meant the NV25 "ultra" stepping. sysfailur got one and it was DOA from what I gather.

That is correct. I'll be doing an update here in a few days w/ some volt mod questions. Be prepared! (That means you DDTUNG)
