Not planning on a full upgrade at this stage and for the others that feel the same, wanting Conroe CPU performance, while keeping their current DDR1 and AGP cards.
Taking the first conroe generation cores, what are the results looking like?
E.g. Asrock motherboards
Is there are any as of yet?

Well, I haven't had the luxury of the Asrock boards but their trackwork is sort of a hit and miss affair. Some boards clock highger than others and some that just die when they O/C...

But then again, you do have to wonder why you are staying on AGP when AGP cards are practically like the US when an oil refinery goes on strike...

I'm fairly sure that you aren't going to get a Conroe running on an 865 chipset o.0

There you go, FCG will now mod a 865P board to work with Conroe. Go FCG go! :)
