This stuff is alot harder than my old s939, 478, 775 stuff. I can't get my chip any higher than 2.5ghz, after that it BSOD's. This stuff is like a new world. I am trying to get used to it, but all the settings are different and stuff.
Some questions:
1. How come when I raise my multi to 12 on my cpu and I get into Windows it automatically puts it back to 11?
2. What is the safe voltage for mushkin DDr2 ram?
3. Can someone explain the DDR2 timings? I am having trouble with them as they are totally different from DDR1.
This is it for now.

1) Because the CPU is locked at a 11x multi and the Bios doesn't hide the Multi options. Even though you can't use them
2)2.2v air. more with active cooling. I wouldn't risk higier than 2.4v though
3) DDR2 timings are just like DDR1, just the numbers are highier in a few places. you have to feel out what the ram can do.. it is going to take alot of Failed boots but it'll teach you alot.

1: 4200+ multi is 11x so you can't run 12 ;)
2: 2.2-2.3v is fine if it uses micron D9 IC's. Not sure what's on that ram.
3: CAS-TRCD-TRC-TRAS are all the same as is command rate. You're best off running 4-4-4-12 2T and pushing the mem clock as high as possible (ddr1000 or higher)
TRC = 12 if the ram runs that

Ohhhh, Alright. Thanks.
Yeah, I thought that the multi would be locked in the bios, stupid tricky msi...

you dont save the changes you made? LOL
It should allow you to lower the multiplier.. Which mainboard do you have? I had a problem with my multiplier until I flashed with a new bios.
