Where can one buy an Intel D975XBX revision 304 board? I've been afraid to order one from Newegg, ZipZoomFly, TigerDirect, etc. because they won't/can't guarantee that a revision 304 will be shipped. I really don't want to pay the highway robbery price that JNCS.com is charging. Other options?

If you have to order it online not sure.
If you have local stores like fry's then look there.
Other people have bought 304's from there.

Fry's is more expensive than JNCS. Welcome to the free market. You are free to pay their price... :p:

No Fry's around here. If they're more expensive than JNCS I wouldn't do business with them even if they did have a store near here.

Looks like I may have to continue to wait..... :( I don't like that, but I refuse to support any company that engages in price gouging if there's a practical way around it. I haven't found a practical way to get back and forth to work other than buying gasoline for my pickup.... Waiting won't work in that case so I've been taking the gouging from the oil companies. Waiting a little while for a motherboard isn't desirable, but another motherboard isn't as necessary as a job is so I'll wait 'em out. Hopefully the price gougers will choke on their inventory!

I am waiting too. Supposed to be more conroe boards available this week but I am starting to have doubts any will show up for sale this week. :(

I've checked a :banana::banana::banana:load of retailers, either they cannot gurantee rev numbers on MB's or there rev 302's.

Supposidly NewEgg has 304's and 302's but they don't gurantee rev #'s its a 50/50 shot if you order one.

I have a rev 302. I think I will just wait until the Intel P965 board comes out. Then I will get a GX2 or a DirectX10 GX2 when they come out since the board will not have SLI.
