Was considering a heatpipe, will eventually move to at least water, but its going to take me some time to fund it... So, until I go water or better would the Zalman heatpipe be better choice then stock cooler? Also does the heatpipe solutions cool ram? if not will ramsinks still fit with the heatpipe?

Right now I just mildly OC my card, but I'm going to step it up as soon as the NF7-S 1.2 gets here.....

Any help from other 9700P users greatly appreciated, basically looking for the best Air cooling for my 9700P

Thanks for the link, decent looking cooling to bad the cooling setup probably isn't available seperately... I'm hoping for some feedback from someone that owns a heat pipe setup....

Well, I've seen lots of people say the Zalman works well with no fan on it at all (which is how you are supposed to use it I guess). Personally I would just go with the Zalman passive cooler and glue a fan on there. That should work fine, and you can OC it well. :)

i don't think you can use ramsinks with the Zalman.

you could always get a CPU heatsink and mod it to fit on your video card.

a 1u copper HSF would probably work well. then you could fit some tweakmonster ramsinks on there.

Thanks for the suggestions, If I try the Zalm an It will be fan cooled anyway, and by the looks of it no room for ramsinks, but question is, does the Zalman cool the Ram?

No it doesn't cool the ram, but in my past experiences I've been able to overclock the ram more because of the cooler running core.

In my case I was able to OC the ram by about 10mhz more (20 ddr) on 3DMark2001 runs.
