Just setup a Am2 3500 in a Abit KN9-Sli.

1- KN9-SLI
1-AM2 3500 Athlon
2-Asus 7600Gs
1-GB Geil Ultra PC5300 Dual Channel Kit (3,4,4,8)
1-Silverstone 500W ST50EF Powersupply
1-WD 150 Rapter sata channel 4
3-Seagate 80GB sata2 In Nvidia Raid 5 sata channel 1,2,3
1-BenQ LightScribe DVDRW
CPU-Z Reads it as a X2 Processer but yet it is a Single core. Could be a read error or maybe the AM2's are X2 minus the second core?

had to add a fan to the chipset heatsink guess the Heatpipe no worky upside down.

This is an error in CPU-Z. CPUID of 40FF2h is DH core what is single-core with 512 kB L2 cache. No way it can be a dual-core with disabled core as core BH has CPUID of 40FB2h and core JH has 40F32h.

Nice. Do you plan to overclock it?

No, my friend. It's just the case. The pci-slots and stuff are up towards the top with this case. ;)

It all depends on preference for your definition of "better". It's a Lian Li V2100 case I believe. Could be a 2000. It's the V series which has upside down ATX. ;)

How do you manage to keep the polished metal finger mark free? My Gigabyte aurora marks so easily, inside and out, and is a pain to get the marks off

DEVIL K-ce, and what's wrong?
X2 3000+ and core Windsor.

This CPU is only 3000+ and core Orleans.

I use alcohol and a towl, the trick is to remove the prints be for the Alumium starts to tarnish.

The Overclocking seems dismal the board has some issues Like running any HTT over 225. all the Memory dividers works 400MHz through 667MHz. The Bios is Full of Good Settings But any HTT over 225 it Just Hangs On Post. I only had a couple of hours to tinker with it, will spend more time soon.

I have tried all the settings I could find. I have some Mushkin 800 and Crucial 800 DDR2 and a couple different Epox boards comming to try. will see how they right out of the Box. It will Probley Take a Couple Of Bios Updates for the Abit to Get its Groove On.
