Hey there,
Since im using a dothan setup now, i have become more and more scared to crush my core.
I have been working with a Zalman Fatal1ty FS-C77 cooler which weighs about 935 grams.
Looking for simplicity, better cooling and less pressure on the core i was looking into those tiny liquid cooling sets for the CPU only.
(CPU Block + 120 mm Radiator).
The thing is i'm pretty known with air cooling though i have no idea which liquid cooling brands/sets are the best to get.
Anyone here that can advise me?
Thanks. :)

Sets suck alot...
can you fit in a dual rad? or does it have to be single 120?

yeah the only premade set I'd choose would be one fo the swiftech kits, but its not compact either

It has to be a single rad yes.
(I want to mount it inside the case on the 120mm outtake spot).
I've seen kits for the setup im mentioning.
They even had a pump built into the rad.
Too bad i cant find a picture or so to show you guys.
But i agree single parts will be better then a set... i just wouldnt know what to pick myself. :)

That is looking sweet! :)
I already came across the CPU block. (You putting it in the list would mean its pretty good then).
I had a real hard time finding a small pump, so thanks. :)
Will the rad be able to get mounted on mount holes for a 120mm fan of a computer case?
(I think so... but just to be sure)
[Edit]
I somewhat found a picture of what i mean:

The loose components posted above come close to what i had in mind though i think it will be hard to mount the pump in my case.
Any other pumps by any chance?

you don't want a rad that has a pump built in, if one fails, you have to replace both, I'd go with a storm or equivalent cpu block, black ice gt rad, and a d5 pump, with a t-line.

The MP-05 Pro LE is the top performing (equal to storm) but is $60... but the non-LE is close behind.

yeah either of those blocks would perform on par with one another

Hmm good point.
I dont mind getting a seperate pump.
Though what i do find important are the looks of my case (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1518221&postcount=376). :p:
So i want to use a pump which i can easily mount to the side of my case so it wont be hanging on some cables with ties. :p:

that should be any pump with a base, hehe, the d5 has 2 holes in the base for mounting and that shouldn't be an issue

lol yes... every pump known to watercooling has a base and mounting bracket or holes.

OK so now only for the Radiator you posted.
Is it possible to mount that on the 120mm fan screwholes inside a computer case? :)
