Does this look alright? Do I need any additives since I'm using all copper? Or if I do need any, can you recommend something besides zerex (not a fan of pink sorry lol) I've seen a few threads about eddy's hi flo barbs, do I need them/will they work with any of the stuff below?

Yes that second one is the right stuff. Looks light blue when diluted. As ReD.SkY said it is used in VWs and also Audis.

Will the stock barbs work ok? The 1/2'" hi flo barbs from eddy's look tempting, but I don't know which components they'll work in lol, and is there anywhere to get a 5/8'' T besides mcmaster? I don't think I'll need 10 of em lol

Radiical will supply good barbs for the DDC+ tops

I am curious guys..how important is a second DDC+ for his setup?

are you going to get Perfomance PC to cut holes for the Radiator?

Also..did you see the price of the YL at Jabtech..$4/each or $3.49 for 3 or more

Nice prospective rig you have there. One tiny suggestion - a lot of the experienced guys now recommend 7/16" ID tubing for a smoother transition from barb to tube, lessening turbulence and increasing flow rate. Probably marginal, but since you're starting from scratch and obviously determined to do it right...

I emailed radiical and they said their delrin top uses g1/4 barbs.

The G1/4 will work with the top. The top does come with very open 1/2" barbs though so you may wish to try them first.

Would it be worth it to replace them with the barbs from eddy? I tried ask them for a cross section picture or something like that on what the delrin top actually looks like on the inside, but they sent me this lol :

We understand your curiosity but the Turbo Heads are subject to intellectual property processes so no internal details are available for the time being.

About the additives, I'll just get some pentosin. Also I updated my first post to include current changes, so check it out :)

I'm going to be doing the cutting for the rad myself, it's not really that big of a deal since I do that kind of stuff everyday at work lol. Except I mainly work with 3/16'' stainless, so the aluminum of a lian-li case should be a piece of case lol

Will the 7/16'' tygon fit over a 5/8'' T, or do I need a 1/2'' T?

Before I buy I'll shop around to get the best prices, the links in my first post are just the first links I came across.

Thanks for all the suggestions/comments so far yall, keep em coming :toast:

will using 1/2'' for the top of the T have any adverse effects over using 7/16''?

You mean, the part leading to the fillport? No. The flow will be bypassing (hopefully) that tube anyway.

t will allow you to have more water stored... maybe even go for 5/8 ID T-Tube :D

now if i can only find a place that has 5/8 ID tygon without having to buy a minimum of 50 feet lol

Just get some MasterKleer from McMaster for that part. You can buy a 5ft length.
