They look fantastic to me, so what's with the BadAxe/Asus exclusivity before these even launch?

Umm so far in my experience Gigabyte boards for Intel have been really so so. That and right now by the looks of things the BadAxe and P5WD2-E are the only 975 boards running Conroe, hence all the exclusitivity.

For me personally, the 965's lack of native crossfire support pretty much kills any interest I've had in mobos with that chipset.

965 = "lower" model and possibly lower max fsb
965 = no crossfire
badaxe = conroe NOW
ASUS = king of intel boards

gigabyte boards have very random o/c ability... even 2 boards of the same model often have vastly different limits :confused:

Sadly just a very short preview with some pictures, but better than nothing.
The 12 phase power is interesting.

actually rumors has it that the 965 are the better chipset than the 975 - but lack CF (PCI-E lanes?). Supposedly memory bandwidth is up by quiet a bit.

Solid CAPs also sounds like a nice upgrade on the Gigabyte boards!
