I'm looking at buying a TJ07 full tower case for my Conroe rig, but I'm a little unsure about having the psu located at the bottom of the case. The case 2 intake fans on the bottom front, intake fans on the BACK going to the cpu, then exhaust fans on top of the case to exhaus the hot air. The psu is completely in a compartment on its on at the bottom of the case.

It seems a little weird, because wouldn't the warm air that the psu blows out be taking in by the cpu intake fan on the back of the case? After that it would be exhausted out the top of the case. It seems weird to me. Does anyone have one of these cases and use air cooling?

I don't think that a lot of warmed up exhaust air from the PSU will be picked up from the intakes above.

In any case, since the PSU is breathing cool air now (not pre-warmed by CPU and graphics card) its exhaust is much cooler than normal anyway.

This setup is a huge advantage for high-power PCs.

I couldn't be happier with my Gigabyte Triton case... Cost me like $90 and has 2x 4.5" fans.
