my gskill 2gig hz kit will crash in prime in about 15mins @ ddr 500,as well as regular system crashes + restarts.the fastest i can get it stable is 239mhz, 10x264htt with a 9/10 (DDR180)divider.I have a dfi expert, have tried the ram timings in the sticky above for HZs and dfi mobos,as well as much looser timings (3-5-5-10,3-6-6-12 and very lax sub timings).Whenever ive set the memory divider to 1:1,240-250httx10,it fails in prime very quickly, have tried changing voltage from 2.5-2.8v,1t+2t,and about 20 other combinations of
mem timings from a topic on dfi+Hzs @ the dfi forums.I have also tested the ram in an a8n-SLI premium, but it was even worse (compatibility?). I think my kit is defective, dont have time to test sticks individually, and my cpu can do 2700mhz,so its well under its limits.I dont have any need 2 o/c my ram,but it would be nice if it could at least do its rated speed.Any suggestions from the gskill tech or anybody apart from RMAing? ive pretty much tried everything. Thanks in advance 4 any suggestions ppl
p.s. have latest official bios, and tried orange + yellow slots.

thanks,i tried those settings and wasnt any better..DDS1 @ DDR500 corrupted my harddrive on boot and i had to reinstall windows..wish id run memtest first!!The other setting werent much better. Was running DDS7 and DDDS1(reduce 50%) before, that seemed to provide the most stability, could prime for 15mins-1hr before errors.Gonna RMA,i think ive exhausted all options for getting these sticks to go @ their rated speed.

there is chance the ram is bad!
