Found it on the eVGA forums...
Can anyone translate what the thread is about?

If so, do ya think, it'll help with the temps?
Full blocks are kinda restrictive, aren't they?
(especially this block, since its gotta be quite thin to fit in
between the two pcbs  )

Maybe you should spend more time here then at evga

What do you think... 2 × block = 2 × price :stick:

But those blocks definitely aren't worth it. Plain aluminium, very very basic design cooling-wise, no thanks :) I'd bet they couldn't take more than 10-15°C off the standard heatsink.

Maybe not, but the stock sinks are garbage. If you could fit a 1U copper sink (http://www.frostytech.com/articleimages/200304/vanteccck7015_detail.jpg) under there, you'd be cutting At Least 10k, if not 20.

But it only makes sense, if you're going the distance to add water cooling to a GX2, you'll be looking for a copper block. Someone stated there are plans to make that Aqua one of copper.

Well, still the interior design is garbage. The material they're using for it right now only makes it worse.
You'd have to use an extra loop if you put these blocks on your cards... you can only use like 3/8" tubing max., the diamter of it's internals is like 4-5mm max.

I can't imagine what it'll do to a single pump setup. Let alone german extremely restrictive loops... :p:

Well, those aren't even "standard" for German systems. They're the company that builds the most restrictive blocks here, but also the ones with the worst performance...
I kept some German blocks on my loop because I like them and they do show good performance. But these AC things... no go.

I like some german wb's. Remember that i have a nexxos xp... :)

Well, but that blocks good :) So there's no shame to like it, right? It's less restrictive than the MP-05 and has at least equal performance... but those things there? Well...

alphacool gx2 block... *shudder*

These blocks are targeted towards ppl with a bunch of 90' connectors and 10/8mm tubing...

AquaComp? Those guys use 8/6mm or even 6/4mm... no, I'm not kidding :D

@creidiki: You're talking about the GP2X or what kind of block? The really bad ones are Aqua-Comp, the better ones is Alphacool... stupid as both would be "AC" in short...

Well, either company's block for a 7950GX2 would be **BAD**. Let alone if you had 2 of those. You would actually brickwall an Ultra.

Either would be bad, yes. The Aqua one still has nearly 3 times the restriction of the Alpha with not even half the cooling performance...

Let's see if someone can get a real block onto that card.

Our hopes rely on EK...! :D
