hi

i got my CF edition X1900XT today, put it in connected the cable, machine booted, i installed latest cat 6.5 driver, enabled crossfire in cat control centre then went for a 3dmark 05 run

the first test didnt run any faster than with 1 X1900XT infact 2 frames slower, the secodn test had the same result, the last test improved alot.

in the end it score 10 thousand sumfin, cant remember exactly, cpu was on 4.2gz with lowerd multi so it was running 1.2ghz FSB

but it scored slower than my previous SLi7800GTX setup, that got 10,900.

i remeberd that 3dmark prerfers alternate frame rendering but i can find no option in cat control to change it, cat A.I is supposed to do it automaticly?
because its obviously not doing its job too well if crossfire X1900XT's cant beat Sli 7800GTX's

i wanna test it on my P4 b4 i stick it in my yonah which always scores over 1 K more in both 05/06 than my P4 ^^

P4 660 @ 4.2ghz
P5WD2-E Premium
Silverstone 650W psu
catalyst 6.5
1 ATI X1900XT
1 HIS X1900XT

i my testing i have found that test 1 is very cpu dependant. test 3 is where you can really see a difference in scores because of the gpu.

Yes it should. Sounds liek CF isn't enabled, seeing as I get around 12k stock in 05. with a single XTX...

i got 11,700 is yonah and using single X1900XT

but havent tried xfire in yonah yet. cat control centre says crossfire is enabled but i noticed no differance :(.

i wish there was a way of manually setting the rendering mode, like SLi can
