User installed a 2.16GHz Merom T7400. So far this guy and Fugger have successfully tested the Meroms out on the Intel Minis. Word on the street is that the Meroms will be released next week with pricing similar to the current chips, all the way up to 2.33ghz ($600+).

In other news, PQI has announced solid-state NAND/Flash 2.5" SATA drives in up to 64gb capacities. That would certainly be a useable size in a Mini or a laptop:

Now if we could just unlock that darn GMA950 in OS X and squeeze 224mb vram out of it, we'd be in business :)

For a moment I hoped someone had replaced the Yonah with a Merom in a MacBook Pro :(

Great solder-job, if he had done it.

Ok, I remember I were one of the first playing around with a Vapochill back in the days.

Still have it running but I reckon it is nothing compared to your setups ;)

Yeah, sub zero isnt really popular there, which is surprising considering we have Asetek and until recently nVentiv being based in DK

Now that I think of it, I need to give Jacob another call to get some DICE... The local gas reseller doesnt have excess stock, and its just too damn warm now :D 30 degrees here :)
