Hi guys,

I'm going to rent a car for a couple of months and the rental company is giving me the choice between : an impala, a grand prix, a camry and an accord.

Which one would you choose?

ps: it's really too bad they don't have a convertible or a something better maybe the next time i'll be luckier.

Accord or the Impala, IMO

Impala or Accord for sure.
Choose the one that has the nicest interior.

I don't really like the look of the impala, last time they gave me a monte carlo and i liked some features but it didn't had a very nice ride.
I was first thinking between the grand prix and the accord. It seems that the grand prix is not that good of a car.

BTW i now have the camry and it's a pos. I really hate the handling of the car and the brakes are scaring me every time.

Impala or the accord depending on total miles/km.

What do you mean on the total miles? Do you mean that the car shouldn't have too much mile on it? Being rentals, i doubt they would be brand new :)
I guess i'll go with the accord but i'll have a look at the impala

...meaning if your going to put a ton of miles on then get the accord as the gas mileage will be much better.

Ok i'm planning to keep the car between one or two months, and gas is payed by the company (so i don't worry if it's at 2 or 4 a gallon :) at least for now )

I went for the honda accord and it's a nice car, much better than the camry I had.
When i was there, there was a mustang parked. I asked if I could rent but they don't rent them for a whole month. Damn! (it's the same price as the honda :s)

i was going to ask what year impala. the new ones dont seem to be too bad, but last generation...absolute crap. the steering is sooo hard, you literally have to use both hands to keep it between the lines. it has a crazy blindspot, and the interior sucks. dont even get me started on that POS engine :(

I think it's the new ones, rental company changes car pretty often. I looked at one and the interior wasn't that good, i thought.

Well i don't really have the choice and honestly i don't find them to be that expensive, i was expecting something more pricey

I think a grand prix or impala would be fun, but for reliability I would go with the camry or accord.

It's outrageous for renting cars with euro-brand stigmas in Canada. It costs around $100-150 for a Mercedes C240 per day

If you rent by the week it's cheaper, i'm doing it by the month and i barely spend more than $600

Camry or Accord, doesn't matter.. they're both equally good vehicles.
