4xx is yonah celeron, not dothan celeron. it's a newer chip

Celeron is faster but you'll need the 300$ Aopen for it :(

It'll be a close contest between the two but i rekon it'll be the the old 533fsb dothan. :toast:

celeron has newer features though, and enhanced on the older features. better fpu and what not ....

well soon as i can get the cash and a bios for the board ( hope it will start up ) i'll post and we'll see what happens...

anyone got a bios to support dothan for p4p800se?

i have tested 430 ,730,750 and 760

200 x 13 vs 200 x 13 and Celly wins
Dothan @ 10 x 260 and Dothan wins

Celly is a very powerfull chip @ 3ghz+

Nice compare shots. From those I am willing to bet its close, but I bet in games etc... Dothan might be ahead B/C of the 2 meg L2 cache.

yeah, dothan clock for clock, higher fsbs because of better mobos. however, the yonah cellys clock higher. not worth the aopen board though, bleh

A CM 400 gives you the choice to get a Merom later on, pretty sweet.
But for desktop, who cares, Conroe is just around the corner.

753 is a lv chip iirc, 12*100. detected as a 2ghz chip eh? cpuz error?

whatever it is, it clocks nicely with very low voltage. :slobber:
