Hi Xtreme people.
I'm thinking to buy this memory OCZ OCZ2P8001GK 1GB or the 2GB kit with number OCZ2P8002GK. Did anyone tested them to give some info on how they overclock.

No, this is not the same memory. I've made some search, but I didn't found anything and that is why I posted this thread. I'm interested in 1000Mhz and beyond capable ram, and if the OCZ can do it at decent timings it will be great, because its cheap. I'm interested also what chips uses this RAM.
Good question , i want to buy this memory too.
Watch out : 8001GK is DDR800 or pc6400
Expecting 1000Mhz out of this set is a little optimistic IMO .
Is DDR800 4-4-4 possible ? maybe tighter timings with more vdimm?

1000Mhz is almost sure with 2,3 volts, but I want to know @ what timings and is it possible to work @ more than 1000Mhz. Also it will be good to know what chips it uses. I think they are probably Elpida, but it will be good to know exactly if they are not rebagged. I want to try 4GB of thee because they are cheap and for the price of 2GB top performing set I can buy 4GB. Yeahhh I know that they are not going to work on the thightest possible timings, but hey I'm going to buy 4GB :slobber:

I picked up a kit of OCZ2P8002GK at Fry's last weekend. It came with a rebate deal, makeing it $149 if the rebate comes through.
This is were I've gotten with it on the badaxe with a D920 and 2.342vdimm.

With my set 500 at even 5-5-5 seems a no go. But I wont complain , not for the price of these sticks :)
